Today I'm going to do this a little differently - the aim is still the same, to connect job seekers to employers! After last week's post, I received an email from someone at New Media publishing and they are looking for two sales executives. x2 Senior Sales Executives needed at iMagazine and myTyd, Johannesburg
They are looking for:
A self starter that has the ability to work productively in a team in a competitive environment and who has excellent sales skills. The successful candidate must have weeklies experience, great agency relationships, as well as, excellent relevant direct relationships with advertisers. Good communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to think outside the box are essential. Plus, at least 5 years in an sales environment. The job will include amongst other duties, securing agency and client meetings, client research, benefit selling, selling against the competition, market knowledge and negotiation.
Main duties include
Liaising telephonically with direct clients and agencies (as allocated)
Setting up 6 meetings per week with clients and media planners to present both your product and New Media Publishing
Managing your data base of clients
Weekly status reports by Friday midday, to the Advertising Manager, detailing previous weeks client activity and possible advertising as well as outlining the up-coming weeks schedule
Capture all bookings on CRM and filing of all necessary documentation both internal and regarding your client patch for easy reference
Chasing CI's and ensuring all clients are aware of material deadlines, and where necessary, ensuring material is delivered to New Media Publishing timeously....
